The City Rail Link (CRL) project contract 5 and 7 involves the construction of a new underground railway line spanning approximately 3.4km of tunnel railway systems and 2.8km of catenary construction through the heart of Auckland's CBD linking to the North Auckland Line. The project aims to enhance transport capacity, accessibility, and urban development while fostering economic growth and sustainability.

The Wiri EMU Depot is a 550m purpose-built facility supporting Auckland’s growing electric fleet for the City Rail Link. It features 10 new stabling roads and acts as a key hub for ongoing fleet maintenance.
TED Rail was engaged to provide oversight of the OLE construction, ensuring design compliance, quality control, and safe delivery across a multidisciplinary build, including:

Development of the greater Manchester light rail network including the Airport. On completion of Phase 3 the Metrolink became the largest light rail network in the UK.
